The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires that school districts provide parents with an annual state, district, and school status reports to include but not limited to the following: student achievement, accountability and subgroup data.
The FDOE uses data to produce readily accessible school and district report cards, providing transparent information to all stakeholders. The district report card specifically reports on progress toward transitioning students from one level (elementary, middle, high) to the next and also reports graduation data.

The School District desires to make all participant experiences at extracurricular events as safe and enjoyable as possible. In order to improve security and safety at these events Santa Rosa District Schools will enact new procedures for entrance into extracurricular activities. First, all bags are prohibited except for diaper bags, medically necessary bags, and bags 12"x6"x12" or smaller. Bags meeting this description are subject to being searched prior to entry. Loitering and standing along fences, in parking lot areas, or any other places on school campus is prohibited. Tickets to all sporting events will now be sold through the end of the game. Additional restrictions may be added as necessary in order to provide a safe environment for all.
Florida’s EDStats tool provides a robust data reporting portal that FDOE will use to provide information to parents and the public about the performance of subgroups in the school grades system and for many other performance metrics (https://edstats.fldoe.org). In addition, the FDOE uses data to produce readily accessible school and district report cards, providing transparent information to all stakeholders. The district report card specifically reports on progress toward transitioning students from one level (elementary, middle, high) to the next and also reports graduation data.
